Young to be coughing from heartworms. What type of situation did she come from? Intestinal parasites are very common. Depending on where she came from she could have kennel cough or parvo. Regardless she does need to be seen by a veterinarian.

Weight loss, coughing, and diarrhea can also be signs of pneumonia. There are so many things that could be causing these symptoms, none of them good. The dog needs to see a vet. The weight loss is particularly concerning to me.
