Success!! My 30% unmedicated GBS was IN STOCK! They cancelled my order because they found a bag in a shipment they got this morning. I also bought a mason jar feed tray and some electrolytes for their water. Fingers are crossed that this fixes the little guys but I still have them quarantined. I am giving the healthy ones the electrolytes also, just in case.

Anything I missed?? The two in Q don't seem to be any worse, just the same. The 'healthy' ones seem about the same too. If the conditions don't change, none die, and none get better - could this odd twitchy thing be neurological? maybe mishandled as eggs??

An Update:

Its been two days since I started them on the GBS and the Electrolyte water and they are all appearing to be much more active and happy. Even my two little sicklings are appearing better - I'm unsure how MUCH better (i.e. frequency of episodes) but they are definitely more active!

I'm almost hoping they stay the same, not better or worse. Because if they get better or worse - it could still be disease but if it is the same, it might be developmental/egg. Who knows but I am very glad that they are appearing happier!!

You cannot have them on a slippery surface, newspaper or a plastic bottom tub, it would be like ice for them. First lay down a layer of paper towels. Those provide a rough surface for the birds to dig the toes in. After a few days or week old put them on pine shavings and do not use sawdust because they will eat it and it will impact the crop. For the first week or two the gamebird starter crumble should be run through a coffe grinder . The ligtbulb has to be adjusted for the birds to be comfortable. Little birds do act strange at times, it may be normal. Make sure they have water at all times.

Thanks for reminding me to update!

They **appear** perfectly healthy!!

I haven't had time to watch them too closely but they are the same size as the others and I haven't seen an episode since the night I started them on the proper food and the electrolyte/vitamin water (in the morning).

I am keeping them isolated for another day, I'm skeptical that they are healthy but I can watch them for a few hours after work tomorrow while watching some TV.

I plan on banding them with some zipties before I put them back in the pen with the others. Like I said before, a small part of me is afraid they had a disease and are now carriers but I am very hopeful that this is just my paranoia.

I'm hoping it was a vitamin deficiency or something.
