Hi I have a rabbit i Rescued a few years ago. He is usually so happy and full of energy and personality. Lately he hasn't been finishing his food and this morning I picked him up and he didn't even fight back. I offered him his favorite apple treat and he turned it away 3 times. I touched under his chin where he hates to be touched and he had no care in the world. Just looking at him I can tell something isn't right. All Of the vets are closed over the weekend due to the virus right now. He also slept in his litter box last night which is very unusual. As far as I know I think he is still going to the bathroom and drinking. What is going on and what can I do! PLEASE HELP

covid cant affect animals but Ive had stuff like this happen to other animals it might be depression for some reason like my rooster got depression stopped eating and died but I have never seen stuff like this in rabbits

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your rooster. Fortunately I found an animal hospital. I took him in the did x rays. He had internal problems the vet said were causing him pain which couldn't really be fixed so I had to make the devastating choice to put him down but I know he is up in heaven and he is no longer suffering.
