About a week ago, our Rhodebar was being pecked at by some other chickens in the flock. We had noticed that she was keeping herself hidden for a few days. The others were chasing her from a favorite nesting spot and my husband said she just fell over as if she were paralyzed. He thought she had broken her leg. She went downhill very fast. We separated her from the flock into the brooding pen where she would eat and drink a little but didn't seem to be improving much. I set up this little "chicken hospital" where she seems to be doing much better as far as eating and drinking go but still not seeing any improvement as far as movement. Not sure what to do with her now except to keep doing what I'm doing and see if she comes around.
