Sick Rooster and Poly Vi Sol

What is polyvisol? And would it help and rather sick acting rooster. He is eating but lays around alot.

Please help!!!!! My kids are so upset that "Randy" is not chasing and having fun.

Polyvisol is liquid childrens vitamins. Commonly available at any pharmacy or wal-mart/k-mart. It would not hurt him to have them.

I believe there are two kinds, one that is safe for chickens and one that's got something in it that isn't all that good for chickens. I can't remember what, though..

I found it! You need to use the kind without iron.

give it by drops on beak..he looks like a standard..give 3 drops once a day for a week, tapering off for a week..
