Sick rooster! Help! Very Worried..

Hi, I have 3 hens and 2 rooster. My hens had black spots on their combs and quit laying for several months. Now the spots cleared up and they started laying again. But now the rooster has the spots, but very severe and he is losing feathers. He looks terrible. Is it fowl pox and is he going to be alright? Do I need to treat him with something? He's really sweet, I raised him from a chick and would hate to lose him. Please help!
