Several days ago I noticed one of my roosters wasn’t as lively as usual and was just slightly more hunched than he should have been. His crop was empty but he wasn’t abnormally thin just not as bulky as usual. He was sitting with his eyes close way more than he should have been and they were kind of dull looking.I also noticed that the top half of his beak was really short. I’ve been giving him chicken rx and chicken elixir to help a little. He isn’t eating on his own so I’ve been mixing up a mash and gently pushing his head into it then he’ll chew and swallow. He’s still preening himself and crowing. Then today I took him to feed him and noticed that his beak looked red. I looked closer and it’s like you can see all the veins in the top beak. Strangely the bottom beak is totally normal. Does anyone know what is causing this or how I can help him.
