The above treatment is incredibly effective. I had a silkie with such a severe case he was unable to eat or drink without my holding his head steady for him. He's 100% normal now. If you cannot get the PRed from the vet, you might have it around the medicine cabinet- the Pred you get from the vet is exactly the same as you get from the doc. Just check the dosage- you want the 5mg pills.
