The backstory on the paranoia is my barred rock dying last Wednesday. Late Tuesday afternoon is when I noticed that she was very listless and had less of an appetite but would still drink. She was falling asleep in the middle of the run and ignoring planes going overhead and dogs barking. Could pick her up very easily. These were the only symptoms she showed. Now I have a cream legbar who seems less active this morning as well. Overall, she's more alert than the BR was but I'm afraid she'll get worse as the day goes on. I'd hate to find her dead just like I did with the BR. I checked for mites (around head, under wings, and vent) and found nothing. I haven't seen her poop yet so I haven't been able to inspect anything. Both of these pullets started laying this month (BR was the first). The CL has laid pretty blue eggs for the past 3 days. So I doubt it's anything to do with eggbinding or broken eggs inside of her. They're eating Purina Flock Raiser and I dewormed them last Wednesday with Durvet Strike III because I thought that was maybe the problem with the BR. If I've left any needed info out then please ask.

Edit: They're going to turn 6 months next Monday. I guess the first sign that something could possibly be wrong was last night when she was completely uninterested in applesauce.

I'll try to get a photo. She's mostly in/around the coop and doesn't seem to be standing differently than normal. I haven't gotten any new chickens or been around anyone with poultry. These are my first.

Anyone? Her stool was loose and she seemed gassy while defecating. I've given them Rooster Booster thinking it may help her.

I gave them dewormer on Wednesday. I treated them for cocci about 4 months ago. Wouldn't treating again so soon after deworming hurt them?
