My sweet Silkie as perfectly normal until a week ago. I noticed she was not walking straight, and seems to fall frequently. I picked her up and felt her legs and checked her wings. No visable sign of injury, however she has been picked on at times by My RIR and my cochin. (The 3 share their large coop)
She is eating and drinking normally, but difficulty in walking and flying. We just brought our 5 new Polish top knots outside in a seperate coop, but they do not mingle yet.
Please tell me what to do! I can't even think of losing her!
Thanks!

There are none around for me to take her to. These are "city" backyard chickens and our vet is not experienced with poultry. I am at Tractor Supply and not much help here either!

Do you have any Vitamin B ? Look through your cupboards....she may well respond if she is suffering from leg problems with a boost from this vitamin.

Chances are that this is an injury caused by one of your others...keep her safe in a warm environment...hopefully she will be back to her normal self very soon...Silkies are prone to injuries if pecked on their heads, neurological damage can occur as a result, hopefully this is not the cause of her problem.
