Hi friends,
I was out today with the girls and I noticed that one of them was wobbling a little and seemed a bit slow compared to the other two. After grabbing her and inspecting her, I noticed that her wattle is a little limp and not so bright red. Her earlobes and crown are quite swollen and almost grey/blue-greenish in color under beak and face. Her vent also looks a bit unclean compared to the others.
Could anyone advise on possible illness she might have and propose some possible solutions?
It should also be know that these hens are free ranging all day and I have caught them eating broken down plastic and bits of styrofoam. I have tried to clean the little in their area as much as possible, but sometimes they roam into another section where others are living and discarding their garbage at will.
Regards,
