So, this was a few years ago, with some Rhode Island Red chickens that I had. It just popped into my mind, and I thought it might be good to see if it has happened to anyone else. It has continued to happen, but not to as many chickens as the first time. What happens is, usually in the summer, the chicken's eyes stay shut. And they stay like that, blind for days. And, I had thought that it may just be some dust in the hen's eye, so it had her eyes closed for that reason, but what were the chances of them all getting dust in their eyes, and all reacting in the same way? After a few days, it stopped, and they were fine, but I'm wondering what this is. I searched it up on the web, but that told me the hens were dying, which was not the case. Their eyes weren't oozing, the only symptom was the eyes glued shut.
