Anyone have a suggestion on good cheap siding for a coop? We definitely need it as there are small gaps between panels but I don't want to break the bank either (the initial body cost more than expected, but the chickens are worth it). I was thinking adobe siding, has anyone tried that before?

Scan craigslist to see what you can find. If I was doing it again, I would use concrete siding - I love that stuff. Easy to clean and does not go bad ever.

Thanks to the both of you. I'd post pictures if I could but I haven't been a member long enough :)

I love the idea about the barn siding.

What is concrete siding? Is that the sheets that concrete texture that go on like wallboard? I saw something on line like that from a company called Moderra, but I have no idea where to get it and it looks kind of pricey. But it sure looks cool.

Thanks for the additional ideas. Here's a pic of what I'm working with (I can finally post them, yay!) in case that changes the opinions. Thanks!
