Hilarious! I too met my husband online, live in Sidney, MT and have 24 chickens, 3 of which are rescued roosters, and three turkeys! Would love to talk to you sometime!

Love your story about your little hen. When you said she hollered for her food and water, that is what makes the difference. The ones with spirit seem to prevail against the odds. I wish you would post a photo of her. What did you name her? "Miracle," keeps coming to mind.
