My rooster has been invaluable here. We've had hawks pretty regularly.

We're setting up a swing set in the back yard this afternoon and somebody (at least one) decided its time to start crowing.......repeatedly. Its confirmed.

I agree with donrae, those birds have too much comb at this age to be pullets.

You should be able to figure out if your pullet is a Cuckoo Marans or a poorly-barred Barred Rock. Look at the bottoms of the feet. Marans have white skin, Plymouth Rocks have yellow skin.
