Last I saw, Spook's still at the "thinking about cleaning out the coop" stage. That's a loooooong way from the step where anybody has to pay a ransom! If I know Spook, it's also a long way from the "actually cleaning out the coop" stage, too. Now, I don't know about you, but the bunny doesn't have piles of cash just lyin' around, y'know? While I might put somethin' into a sort of "rainy day fund", I see no need to start chuckin' money around over some idea that probably won't ever proceed into the form of an actual plan, let alone be a real threat (the Queen herself didn't seem to feel very threatened, now did she?) Besides, knowing Spook, he could probably be bought off with something other than hard currency - baked goods come to mind.

We all know that Spook can be bought with a bag of jelly beans! But I think the best thing to do is let him kidnap the the Queen. After a few days he'll be paying US to take her back!!

I think Bunny has an excellent idea with the jelly bean account! So every one send me a bag of jelly beans and I'll set up an escrow account for when we need it! And knowing Spook, by the time he goes from thinking about cleaning the coop to actually cleaning it, we can also test the freezing theory as well.

But Spook, ransom is"to free from captivity or punishment by paying a price". Obviously the kingdom can't and won't pre-pay for something that hasn't happened. In order to collect a Queen's Ransom, you must have the Queen! And I still contend that after you kidnap the Queen, you'll be willing to pay the kingdom to take her back!
