It's been unseasonably cool around here, too - but at least I had enough sense to just enjoy it, not complain about it!

Yeah, my bad.

Mid nineties in the shade. Just gave fresh water (2nd time today) to birds and dogs - everybody took a drink of the nice cold stuff. I have one dog here that belongs to my friend the Circusman that suffered heat stroke a couple years ago. Like all such dogs he is extremely uncomfortable when it gets so hot. No field trials for him until conditions moderate.

We had several days with lows in the 60's and highs that were 80-ish. Not there anymore, now lows in low 70's and highs mid to upper 80's. Not bad for June, I'm not complaining!

Guess who got her learners permit today? Sure, it was my second try, and sure, I almost failed, but still! Now I can learn how to drive, so I can go and drop off dozens of naked necks at Sours house. >

Sourland failed his first drivers test - poor speed control. I drove too slowly. Within a month of getting my license I got my first speeding ticket.
