Well, we got about 4 inches of rain on Wednesday; it would be greedy of us not to share.

Well, the walks, deck, and porch are shoveled. The driveway is plowed - now we wait for the kids and grandkids to arrive.

How much snow did you get? We got almost 2" of rain out of that system. If that much moisture had been turned to snow, Wilmington would have been paralyzed for a week!

I hope you and the Princess have a terrific time with your family!

Only got about 3" of snow, but temperatures have dropped and it's starting to feel like winter.

Pierogies are cooked and heating in the oven, stuffed cabbage is heating, kielbasa and kraut are heated up, hors douevres are set to enter the oven - my duties are done for now.

I am all cleaned up and semi presentable. The Princess has been bugging me to shave my head - had about a 5 week growth. I told her that I wanted to grow it out and sport a pony tail for the rest of my life. She replied, "You have neither enough hair or time left to do so. Shave your head, George." A bit harsh don't you think?

I have seen bald guys with ponytails - sorta like the mature man's mullet?

Oh, trust me she knows that guy. He has never been far from the surface. A friend once told me that I was a true chameleon: able to suit up and survive with the BS, MS, Phd's that we worked with---don my blue jeans and flannel shirts and retreat home to my favorite redneck bar. Survival is the name of the game.

Jojo the pomeranian puppy is a hoot. He nevere holds still. Like a bouncing ball away he goes. He was initially leary of Dani our golden. 'Initially' - I just had to disentangle him from her tail. He attacked and literally got entrapped with his toenails and teeth.
