*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

There was a joke around the RODI tank that "The Boss Lady got stung by a lion fish once...after 3 excrutiating pain filled days, the lion fish finally died. " maybe that's why none of the new hires ever really acted comfortably around me? :/

I'll bet they were very careful not to sting you!

I believe that suggestion might be rationalization on your part, our Queen.

Y'all laugh it up. I didn't find it so amusing.

Now one I did find amusing was when my partner, a older man, came into the store one day. Cary is a general contractor, and being as he and I built the store from the ground up I decided he could help me with a puzzling issue. You see, our freshwater aquariums were all plumbed together. Basically one giant filter ran them all. No wires behind the aquariums, and the lights were screwed into the top of the hoods, LEDs, and never touched them either. So.on this day, I asked Cary to help me solve the mystery of why every time I stuck my hand into one specific aquarium, I got the s$&t shocked out of me. Cary checks everything over and proclaims me crazy. I stick my hand in and show him again, I'm getting shocked. So to prove his point that I was nuts, he sticks his arm in...complete with watch....15 minutes later after I finally got Cary to come back to our world, he drained the tank and fixed the issue.

I sold the store. Passed all my maintenance contracts to an old employee, and occasionally, I still take his calls and answer his questions. For the most part though, I had to get out of that. Too much stress, and it was affecting my health.

Quote: I had someone on a newspaper website comment they bet I never lived in the area where the paper is located because of where I stood on a controversal subject locally (lived there all my life) I simply responded my family has been here for 75 years and my family could be traced to the state before it reached statehood and asked if they could top that, they simply never replied (I figurd as much hard to trace one's family to one region for over 100 years).

...and the point to remember is that our Em has admitted
to being pure poison. So much that for a poison thing to
merely touch her...the poison thing itself will surely die.

So much for the dear sweet little old lady act. That act is
over.

Um. Spook? When did that act begin, exactly? I must have missed it.
