*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

63 degrees and sunny here in NJ. Typical mid to late Sept. temps.

lady, did I mention that I dropped the Weather GPS? Can I possibly be at fault here? Nah, it's Alaskan's fault she is just wishing for an early winter with more snow than last year. That wish shall be granted.

Please, Sour, be a bit more careful with that thing. We all know what happens with the Broody GPS! I know you are just trying to be accommodating with the weather, but it seems to have sent the cool weather to the warm and sunny South again. If this keeps up, it'll play havoc with the tourist trade . . . .

Getting rid of those tourists - would that really be a BAD thing?

Some odd years back, when Alaskan's children were younger, and so cuter and at least in some ways, less smelly..........

We were all driving through town, and there was "TRAFFIC". So, Alaskan made a few comments about the horrid tourists being back in town. One of Alaskan's children panicked and said something along the lines of "Are they going to shoot us?"

At which point Alaskan discovered that the child in question thought that tourists were the same things as terrorists.

While Alaskan does admit to a few similarities..... The child was corrected.

"If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?"

(More bumper sticker humor)

Crazy but true, Sour; though the South seems resigned to being part of the same country as the parts that Yankees come from, some things still haven't been forgotten (or forgiven!)

Oh - and Florida doesn't count as being part of "the South." Too many Yankees there.

Funny about being 'outsiders'. We've lived in our home for 48 years. To a certain degree we are still regarded as newcomers, not so much as the 'city people' who want street lights on our rural roads.
