It's true, they were given permission to cut eye holes. I believe the concern was that they might bump into sparklies if they couldn't see - which I believe you'd agree is a highly undesirable situation.

lady has mentioned the Council of Elders granted permission to cut eyeholes in the buckets. There were far too many incidents of 'inadvertently' bumping into Sparklies.

I'm concerned (just slightly). Anyone else think that it is time for a 'Kingdom Intervention' for Alaskan? Even in the Kingdom this persona appears somewhat warped, and the snow hasn't even started drifting. It's going to be an interesting winter.
