, as Minion #2, may I ask that Alaskan be banished to the land of cold and snow for many years to come. That would be the far Northern-most part of the Kingdom. It gets approximately 80 feet of snow in the winter and 24 feet of snow in the summer...The sentence could be reduced if Alaskan behaves for...oh, say...til after New Years.... note I didn't specify a year.....

Please feel free to correct me if I have put any titles wrong...It's been a while since I was in the Kingdom for any length of time.... Reality is not nice..it's harsh even....

Wisher, I am moving Mini and I to the middle of Tennessee...Near Nashville in fact. After getting established there, my goal is to find a voice coach for Mini as I have discovered that child can SING! She came home back in March and told me of the school talent show and how she wanted to sing in it. Being the mommy I think I am in my vastly insane mind, I told her great! And proceeded to find out what she wanted to perform so I could get the CD for it. Turns out she wanted to sing the Carrie Underwood song Blown Away. I was like "Oookkkk" cause I have heard her singing (I thought!) around the house. The day before the talent show was the awards ceremony for the elementary school. (She got a couple awards!

) after which, a teacher told the students if anyone wanted to see what they would sound like on the microphone before they performed the next day, to come on up. It took some doing, but I finally convinced Mini to go on up and see how she sounded. Of course with all the other kids, no one would shut up and there was a lot of noise. Mini got the first few words of the song out and EVERYONE shut up. I got goose bumps all over my body. I wasn't looking at the stage, I was looking for her teacher. I turned around to see who was singing and it was MINI!!! My jaw hit the floor. I started crying (and I'm not a crier)

I could not believe it. She got finished with the first verse and handed the teacher back the microphone and the applause was deafening. She jumped off stage and came over to me and said "You're crying!!! What's wrong!" I just told her how great she sang and it moved me to tears. Well, she wanted to invite her father to the talent show...that's another story....but lets just say, he missed out on one of the best days that child ever had! They didn't give prizes at the show, but she had a lot of people coming over to her telling her how they loved her singing and she got the only standing ovation. I was totally in awe of my child.

But we are not moving to near Nashville for her to begin a singing career. It just happens to be where my sister lives. My parents are moving with us. I have been helping them a lot in the time I have not been on here as their age has caught up with them both very quickly. When I'm not working, I'm taking them to their different doctor appointments and things. My sister came in for a month long stay in June and realized that I needed help so she took Mini with her so I would not have to worry about her for the summer. When I realized how much her health had improved (I don't know if I told y'all or not, she was diagnosed with anorexia earlier in the year and then with failure to thrive by the end of the school year), I decided we were moving. This environment was just not good for her. I have been a travelling momma since June. I cannot wait to move but I have to get the money and find a place for the chickens, dogs, and a place that will allow cats inside. So far, no luck. In the little over 5 months Mini has been there, she has gained 27 pounds and is off ALL her meds. So I'd say it is vastly better for her there. It warms my heart to hear her laughing and giggling when I call. And to see her laughing and having fun when I go visit. I miss her greatly though.


I'm sorry for the long post...It's been a while!!! Well, back to the insanity that is the Kingdom!!

Well, Mary is under you....since she has not been here long. I'm afraid you will have to ask Bluesub for the application for Smashed Dirt Keeper. She is in charge of all Kingdomly positions....Although you've been here long enough that I think you could be promoted to another job....Smashed Dirt Keeper is one of the lowest positions in the Kingdom....Once Mary has been here a while and we can see how she will fit in, she will be given a title too.

lady, help me out here....Is Mitch a younger? He's not an elder but I don't remember if he qualified as a younger....if so, you will need a bucket, Mitch. And you will not be given an apprenticeship under JD! We do not need any more sparklies around here....
