*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

And she's really tall...
Hennible, any other metal bands you like? I'm partial to Within Temptation and Kamelot, too.
That's the heaviest I like... Then it fades into prog metal.... Although I do like Bareness.
Coheed and Cambria... More rock than metal... Breach of trust, obscure band I'd call heavy mellow....
But DH and I have passed into" yuppydum" and listen to a lot of the current alt music... :/

Was reading this today from the Fish and Wildlife email they send me, and I thought of you guys...Bunny, control your rabbits!

"Over 10,000 rabbits have invaded Helsinki, Finland, where they have taken over parks and graveyards, consuming flowers, loosening tree roots, and toppling tombstones."

I'm seeing a bunny wave, a'la zombie wave in World War Z, just sweeping through the countryside...
either that or this is going to be like that bad horror film, Night of the Lepus.

.... Jack shirts, Tim Hortons, coffee crisp bars, butter tarts, Emily Carr art...
I assume Jack shirts refers to lumberjack shirts, and as Finnish economy was largely built on the lumber and paper pulp industry in the past, clearly they stem from Finland. Coffee crisp bars are from here too, as we are the worlds biggest coffee consumers per capita. This was heritage that Tim Horton, originally Teemu Hortoinen, son of Pekka and Marja Hortoinen, took with him when he migrated to Canada, later establishing his famed chain of coffee shops, modelling the first one to his memories of drinking coffee at home. Butter was also an important export item, the Finnish dairy consortium Valio was founded in 1905 to supply butter to the United Kingdom. Around this time, the butter tart was invented, in Finland of course. And Emily Carr may have been born in Victoria, but only after her pregnant mother fled Finland, as she was being persecuted by the Russians.

Em, that's old news. The bunny population has declined since, but they were a major issue at one point. At night, you could easily see 50 of them eating grass on a lawn in the center of Helsinki. And foxes followed them too, I've seen foxes within a kilometer of the city center.
