Sour and the 'kids' have always tended to pick at the Princess. I carry on the tradition upon occasion. Others don't understand our dynamics and strangers must sometimes think that I am a major 'P'.

One of our grandkids told the 'kids' and me to , "Leave my grandmother alone - you guys are rude." Just normal family dynamics like the time we ran away from her at the Chincoteague lighthouse leaving her being attacked by swarms of mosquitoes. Bad 'kids'.

The Princess wasn't always laughing.

It's sometimes a fine line between playful teasing and bullying. There's always the risk of carrying a joke too far and hurting feelings, and then everybody feels bad. I've seen people in tears when they didn't know something was intended to be a joke - and that was face-to-face interaction. I'd say that as long as the "victim" gives as good as she gets, all is good; I believe the Princess has shown herself quite capable in that respect.

The Princess is, indeed, strong on rebuttal. Plus she is a great sport and is fully aware of how important she is to all of us.
