*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

It's Alaskan's fault.

I just ate 4 cinnamon buns hot out of the oven.

I would need a broody. Sour, how well does your magic work over large bodies of water? It should carry the signal pretty well, right? All of our Marans chicks turned out to be boys, so I'm keeping a batch of green eggs ready for a broody, the six freshest eggs are waiting to get planted under a chicken butt. I'm turning them daily, and they're kept at about 18C, that should be ok, right?

Sour, learn from the brilliant Alaskan....

Felix, not certain about my ability to help you. I am working on a major 'spell' for Alaskan. I will give it a try:

Do a little dance

Anyone know if Finland is E or W of here? Never was good at geography.

On the east coast, pretty much north east, on the west coast, it's closer to a northern direction. That is, if you're looking for the shortest route. From Alaska, it's straight northwards. Actually, the northernmost parts of Alaska are closest to Finland.

I hope your broody dance works. I just need one broody, though. And six chicks is what I'm hoping for, although a 100% hatch rate might be hoping for a bit too much.

I always have a clean coop and run, relatively speaking. But I will admit that the roosts are a bit poopy. It's starting to be time to change the bedding in the coop soon though. I think it's pretty much saturated with poop by now, I've had the same stuff there for 4-5 months. The amount of poop and food mixed into the bedding must be enormous.

I just made shnicker doodle cookies. Smells good in here..can ya smell them? I know you can.

And, I do share.
