I've seen the movie several times and hated it each time (I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment!) but I've always liked the music . . . .

Queen Em hasn't mentioned what the surgery is for. I'll just say it's a relatively common surgery for small children, though of course, when it's your child (and a princess at that!) it is never "common." Praying that the surgery goes well, and Princess Lily recovers quickly!

Just popping in for a brief hello... I really should be filling out forms and looking for my missing calculator.

Persuasion is going great, and I realized I never updated anyone: My sister landed the role of Anne Elliot. No, I did not push her into it, I actually excused myself from that casting decision when I found out she was in the running for the lead.

The rest of the cast is doing great, I almost have the flyers done... I'm heading up to my father's this weekend, and assuming that there's no family drama going on (one never knows) I'm hoping it'll be an enjoyable break. Just have to get through two more days.

I had that surgery and it was a life changer!

I was nearly deaf before the surgery.

Hearing comes back very quickly after all the gunk is out of the inner ear.

I had a low level fever for a year. When I got to the hospital (I was in the fourth grade) they were not going to admit me. The Dr. said that if they waited until my temperature was 98.6, they would never get to it.

I felt so much better after that operation!

Our Elephant. I bought her that for her first birthday. Surgery went well. Hearing is good. Pain is manageable. We are resting and snuggling now.
