*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

With my first, I craved turkey sandwiches. I had not been particularly fond of them before and I can't say that I had ever ordered one from a deli, but I couldn't get enough. They had to have the thin sliced turkey - 3 slices, an inch of lettuce, yellow mustard and toasted white bread. DH came in one day and started laughing. I was standing at ready at the counter looking at all the ingredients laid out carefully on the counter, in order and lined up perfectly. He saw me standing there and said, "What are you doing?" I said, "Waiting on the toast, it's in the oven." I ate them three meals a day for several weeks.

When my DW was expecting, I did not crave anything...weird????

stream fishing is great... no rocking boat.

I craved watermelon with my first two..but, back in the 70's, you couldn't get it! Now days, you can almost get any fruit or vegatable that you are looking for, any time of yr.
Now watch, someone will come up with something.

Fishing? I've posted here before on that one haven't I? I used to be the one on the boat to catch the fish. Serious! Now my daughter is the one that catches the fish, and big ones too! I've got to find that photo! This was last yr. She is going to the same place again this yr.

The only thing I ever craved was sleep.

A lot of nights, I didn't even try to go to bed; I just made myself uncomfortable on the couch.

And before you go knockin' Critter for sprawling comfortably in the bed, while his poor pregnant wifey is having to make do on the living room furniture, remember what he does for a living. (I'm hearing Gobber, here - " And while I'm busy, Hiccup can cover the stall! Molten steel, razor sharp blades, lots of time to himself - what could possibly go wrong?") It seemed kind of important to me that he be reasonably well-rested when operating things like chainsaws . . . .
