I don't think they want me for jury duty anymore (for some reason the lawyers always excused me anyway) apparently 74 year old brain cells have questionable viability.

I imagine that showing up with a piece of rope in your hand, tied into a hangman's noose, may have made some type of impression on the lawyers.
