You're just watching the performance and he is acting in it? He is going to be nervous (maybe it's part of the act for Linus...).

If you see him before the performance wish him luck, but remember he is going to be distracted, so he might be a little flustered.

If you see him after the performance, tell him something specific about what you liked about his performance (that way he might start talking about the experience).

If you have a choice, wait until after the performance!

Good advice, and yes, I will DEFINITELY be waiting until after.... That way I can get used to being in the same room as he is for a while. Funny, I used to be in the same room every week and I was fine.
