Don't worry, they were only slowed down, the barge they were on just broke down in the middle of the ocean..... took them a few days to fix it.... it should be moving again now... so not lost forever.... they will be here maybe today or tomorrow.

It is humorous, yes...but it is also true.

We are middle of nowhere up here. If the barge is a couple of days late the grocery stores can't restock and the shelves end up mostly empty.

And yes...that means all food is en-rout at least a week if not two before we see it...so yep...produce is both a bit wilted and expensive.
