Coconut crabs are big, not small; brown, not red (unless cooked); and found in trees, not parking lots - which sounds like a good idea to me. The parking lots around here are turning into lakes . . . the roads, too, *blub blub blub*

No way on the hair. I've seen video where they reach the sea and jump up and down and lay their eggs.
