*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

No Hungarian here - stolid German counterbalanced with off kilt er Scottish makes for a somewhat divergent personality.

Divergentness, that's me. A continual battle between the stolid, dependable, practical German genes and the off kilt er Scottish genes.

Sour, I think you've nailed down the root cause of our apparently similar brain-waves. With me, it's an Irish-Dutch tug of war that keeps the wires humming. I'm not sure what it does to me (besides keeping me arguing with myself) but it does make you diverting! Though please, keep the kilt on - there are youngers watching!

lady, yesterday we went to Monmouth Park, a thoroughbred race track. It was Irish heritage day. They sang and drank, and ate and drank, danced and drank, and had a blast. It was a great day for a people watcher like me. Those folks had fun! The Princess picked 3 winners but had one taken away by the stewards. Me, I supported thoroughbred racing in the state of NJ.

I hope at least the Princess won more than you lost!

For some reason, I went here:

(I've heard a much funnier version of this song, but I couldn't find it on youtube)

:yesss:   Just like bouncing around in the cage of balls at the fair except that these are edible.  Wait, I don't like coconut.   And, and everyone is taking their clothes off before entering - I think I will pass on Alaskan's fantasy.  Alaskan, how's that leech doing?

Alaskan doesn't remember mentioning clothing...clothing talk is brain way down in the bottom of the moat talk

Alaskan thought we weren't supposed to go there.

And Alaskan likes WARMTH, leeches are cold, so ergo, no leeches are on Alaskan.

Yeah! Tra la! It is WARM today! Yahooooo tra la! It is a day to PLAY!

Sour...I'm afraid that our fiend in Alaska may
have more than one fantasy...can we say "troubled".

Can you imagine how terrible it would be to wake up
each morning and realize you're STILL in Alaska?

His best friend is a snow-man?

And just what is he taking that makes him see "jelly-bean rain"?

Yes...a troubled man.

Spook

Fiend? Alaskan is a FIEND? Well....maybe that is a good thing.

Alaskan's best friend is NOT a snow man...we have no snow men here, only snow goons, AND, AND all snow is gone

la la the snow is gone tra la loo the snow is gone!

Little sparkly things rain from the warm warm sun!

I have been exploring the castle between batches of cookies, brownies, cakes, and of course, doughnuts.  I have found many wonderous things in the castle.  I had thoughts of opening the whole thing to the subjects to enjoy, but after checking out the game room, I thought better or it.  The game room is not anything like I expected and there is a padlock on the royal bedchamber.  I have found a nice suite in the north wing that I will use while I'm here.

I have set up for a party tonight and the theme is "Let them eat cake -- and cookies, and brownies!"  Anyone willing to entertain (and accept) the idea of me as interim Queen is invited and welcome.  There will be music and dance.  There will be a jester and other entertainment.

I have also scheduled an event later in the week for the ones that are not willing to get on board.  I wouldn't want to leave anyone out.  Just to show that there are no hard feelings and no grudges to be held, I am hosting a picnic down by the moats with fried chicken-like meat, Koolaid, and potato salad.  Don't worry, this won't be like one of Sour's infamous picnics (unless he shows up to the first party, and then I may have him host the picnic.........)

point one the fact that the bedroom door is locked sends Alaskan's brain into a deep downward spiral

point two Alaskan is no longer interested in food, ALASKAN IS OUT OF COFFEE
