No one commented on Alaskan's leech discovery!

There were more than ten per child! :D

Only sadness, is that they are now old enough that they practice self-removal of leeches. :( I greatly enjoyed standing little tykes in a pot and pouring salt all over their feet.

Alaskan wished to take pictures.....especially of the resulting blood trails.......but didn't.

It is only required if you are being sparkly with Alaskan. All sparkling of the Queen, and other ladies of the realm, must be leechless!

Sorry, Alaskan, the rest of us do not share your love of leeches........

Isn't it splendid that there is a pond full of leeches near the northern gate? Alaskan can sparkle leeches all she likes!

Spook has been around the forum, my Queen. Some of his posts have been rather long; I suspect he has worn himself out "pecking" along with his other fingers.

Oh, and Mitch - I'd be careful about sparkling, if I were you. Misdirected sparkles can result in an opportunity to feed the moat denizens.

Of course, sparkles correctly applied have many times warded off a dunking, too.
