*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Well sung, Darzee.

Congrats on the snake shift, Bunny! I just caught a little 2 1/2 foot rat snake in a nesting box last night. His head wasn't as wide as my thumb, but he had that unhinged jaw stretched as far as he could to try to get that egg down! I just wonder how long he would have kept trying to eat that egg if I hadn't found him since he needed to grow another foot before it would have worked!
And he also survived the encounter with a rehoming about six miles down the road. From what I've seen, if "most" snakes are rehomed to an area where food is plentiful, they don't worry about the old feeding grounds!

Oh, Bunny has plenty of things she's afraid of, it's just that snakes aren't one of them. I have plenty of respect for the venomous kinds, but a rat snake? They usually don't even try to bite.
