*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

(Do you know what size puddle it would take for the both of you?)

Wouldn't be as much "mud-wrestling" as it would be "swamp-wrestling."

Just for that, Spook, you can't watch! There!

( It was already Saturday July 20th yesterday in New Zeeland.)

Now...their today is our tomorrow. Or something like that. My clock
doesn't work like theirs. And I've never seen a Bunny that could tell
time.

But I was right....I'm always right, because that's the way I do things.

Spook
You sound like Critter. He says, "I'm the husband. I'm right by definition."

You're right about one thing for sure - this Bunny tries to tell time, but it won't listen. It just keeps running away from me . . . .

Gads! Look at the time!

Ya know, sometimes I question my sanity. OK, OK I hear the sounds of disbelief echoing throughout the Kingdom. Let me explain. The planters on the deck have been looking a little shabby so I decided to dress them up. Checked out Home Depot - crap there, but I did get 5 nice Coneflowers for the flower beds. Went to a local nursery and located 3 pots of very nice annuals.

As I was preparing to pay, the lady there said, "Is that all that you need." I behaved and asked, "What do you mean?" She said , "We have a one day sale. All you can fit on a cart for $75." Well the annuals were going to cost me $21 - kind of a no brainer. Long story short, I got a cart, loaded 20 perennials on it, added my 3 pots of annuals, paid $75, and came home. Fixed up the planters on the deck last night. Now I am in the process of digging 25 holes and planting the perennials.

What was I thinking?

I understand fully, Sour. I have had to make a rule (for myself) that I don't buy ANY plants until I have the spot ready for them to go in. I even dig the holes in the places I want them so I will know exactly how many plants I need. This, after several occasions where I bought plants and they died in the flats before I was able to get them in the ground.

I have a little different problem, since we grow our own for the business - what to do with the leftovers. Right now I'm trying to figure out what to do with a couple of dozen mixed Angelonia that Critter didn't need for any property and I've gotten rather tired of watering. The things are so expensive when you buy them (even as seeds!) it seems a shame to let them go to waste.

Build a new bed!
You sound like the Princess.

The bad news is that I found a yellow jacket ground nest in one of the flower beds. The good news is that I saw them before they decided to attack. Later in the season, I would have 'had it'.

Our daughter took part in a 'mini triathalon' today. We were not allowed to attend because we would 'make her nervous'. Anyway she survived. I wonder what her next challenge will be? She's already run a half marathon. The girl is a 'nutjob' - just like her mother. Why can't they be sensible like me?
