*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

I was talking about Bunnie's parade.

Someone threw a parade for Bunny? *goes back to check*

Alaskan tired

Alaskan wants to hibernate until spring.
Sounds like Alaskan ate too much candy.

BTW, Sour - Betsy is the mule, she's the one who fell out of the trailer and was spooking at the man hole covers. Sydney is a 40" Shetland Pony/oversized Miniature Horse; she's the one that was having a cow.

You could get lots of money for one.

And just how does a full sized cow come out of a mini horse?

Or, are you talking a mini cow?

Fascinating critters you got there!

Any of the above.

And you are right, Yebob, parades are supposed to be fun (I think). I keep believing that sooner or later, the hard work will pay off and we'll be able to enjoy one. I realize that no amount of training will change an animal's basic character, and Syd is a drama queen to the core. A nighttime Christmas parade is a pretty intense environment; even without fire trucks or police motorcycles, there is a lot of visual and auditory stimuli. Knowing how I feel about crowds, I sympathize with the fact that Syd is experiencing sensory overload. But as Lynn put it last night, "she needs to learn that life is like that, and just deal with it." Blondie has already gotten to that point: the person who led her last night was a 17-year-old "little person" who isn't much taller than she is. But Blondie is sweet, calm, and laid-back by nature; Syd the Man-eating Mini is not. Syd may never actually enjoy parades (she prefers to cause the drama, rather than experience it), but she can learn that as long as she pays attention to me, and does what I ask her to, she's OK (and she gets carrots!)
