Lord even knows how everyone is related. I prefer to stick with the whole if we all come from Adam and Eve, we're all distant cousins line of thought. Makes every day a family reunion.

A few years back I remember reading about some research with sort of identified different ancestral mothers (a step forward from the mitochondrial Eve stuff), it was pretty interesting. I think they had identified about 7 different women who were ancestors of different ethnic groups.

What's scary though is that we follow such a similar train of thought. I'm sure Bunny can tell you about when I first joined the forum, I didn't tell her and it freaked her out just a touch.
