Would be handy to have something like that on her though, she often forgets to call when she's coming home from her evening shift, making timing of dinner a bit difficult.

Ooh, yeah.

Y'know, there's a drug used as a sedative in large animals that is fatal to humans - represses the part of the brain that controls breathing. It has an antidote, though, and anyone that chooses to use it knows that you prepare a dose of the antidote first, so if you accidentally inject yourself with the sedative, you hopefully won't die.
