I got my order wrong and corrected... But still this is great for you and him.... I love those machines that grab the tree at the base cut it off then tip it over and skin the tree of branches.....

I have watched video of horse logging and its down right Scary. Scary for the Peeps scary for the horses.... Those logs are HEAVY... more than a thousand pounds and skidding them out with a single draft horse.... or Mule..... Amazing.

That's a pretty typical Finnish accent, that's the level your everyday Finn who doesn't need English for his job talks. Younger people and people who need English at work speak it better. Many still have the accent, but they have a vast vocabulary and pronounce more clearly. I pick up accents quite easily, so I have a more American/generic accent.

Hardly any hand falling in the north here Deb, trees are too small .... They just take trees down now with machine... Plus there's not a lot of selective logging anymore just clearcuts, so machine it is....
He operates a skidder some of the time but mostly he's a heavy duty mechanic..

DSO is also heavy machinery mechanic. 10 hour days climbing up and down the heavy equipment to "fix the big toys the big boys break. :)

BB2K and I had an interesting evening last night.

She won the youth class costume contest with her "Bunny Angel" - though she had thoughts about making it a devil costume, instead (the little beast gets nippy sometimes). Then she unexpectedly but almost literally bumped into some of her friends, so she got to hang out with them for a while on the midway. I got to assist in pulling some Button Quail chicks back from death's door after a couple of them stumbled into their waterer and then spread the love among their buddies - not the best thing to do with the temperature in the low 50's, even with a heat lamp. Hopefully we'll get a proper brooder and a safe waterer set up for them today; it's fun to share those cute little fuzzballs with the public, but it's not worth risking their lives to do it.
