I'm only 27, but still, I thought we were done at the 3 kids mark. I guess the Big Guy upstairs has other ideas.Congratulations Em! I did the late pregnancy..I was shy of age 40 when I had my last. Never thought I would have done that..but here we are, on our anniversary day. We are grandparents, and great grandparents..with a 21 yr. old son. He is a very young Uncle, was on the day he was born....lol..had a first grand child 6 weeks before he was born. Love that kid of course! Can't imagine life without him! He's a great young man.
Normal morning sickness I'll gladly take. Which thus far, is all I've had. We are praying I don't get any worse than that. With Lillian I had Hyperemesis. Worst 9 months of my life. I was admitted to the hospital 17 times during my pregnancy. The doctors advised against me having more children, because it's considered high risk and dangerous to me. But, as I said, someone knows better than us, and He will see us through it. (Can you tell what Terry and I have also been up to? Joining the Catholic Church.) We have found a OB who specializes in hyperemesis, and are just hoping we won't need her. It's exciting, but a bit scary too.Congrats, Em!![]()
Oh, geez, morning sickness . . . . I sure don't miss that! I remember someone saying that the theory was that it was supposed to help protect the fetus from possible toxins during the most vulnerable phase of the pregnancy, to which I responded, "by starving the mother to death??!"![]()
