*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Bad influence? I'll say - I've just spent the day with my family.

Our apartment when first married was across the road from the church that I attended.  Church bells were inspirational.

One of my favorite long ago memories - walking home near dusk a few days before Christmas. Huge, fluffy snow flakes falling all around me, snow squeaking under my feet. There were carols playing on the church carillon, and the Christmas lights on nearby houses were making multicolored sparkles in the snow. Not one of your Cialis moments, Sour - I was just a kid at the time. :p

One of my favorite Christmasses came a little more than a decade ago. I went out side my house around 10:30 pm Christmas Eve to do my normal patrol of the property when I noticed in the trees were perched Bluebird with cardinals , blue jay and black caps...then I noticed several young bucks playing in the front yard while off to the west side of the house there were between 20 and 30 deer bedded down. Something magical was in the air. Then to my surprise it started snowing the thickest fluffiest snow I've ever seen....and in a mere 5 hours it snowed a foot and a half of snow. That's something special for south Texas....especially since it hung around for two weeks!

Hey, JD, belated Merry Christmas. The only bad part of that story is the fact that it hung around for 2 weeks. 70 degrees F here on Thursday, and no snow yet this year. Each day like this is one day closer to spring. Bad part is that daffodils and other bulbs are already growing.
