*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

OK, who're you and why are you here, Chicken Leg?

Oh, BTW, God loves you. A lot. (I am saying that to everyone... I am so on fire after retreat!!!!)

Glad you're back, Tani. Retreats and revivals will do that to you, won't they? I call that sort of thing "spiritual bungee jumping." (You did know my father is a retired minister, right?)

And yet, in many ways, I am a lot like my father. He taught me to analyze, not just repeat what I'd heard. I remember, when I was a teenager, there were a number of times when random conversations that we'd had turned into next Sunday's sermon. Scary!

I got his sense of humor, too. Where do you suppose I learned to play with words?

This was an awesome retreat. We were divided into a guys group and a girls group, but we spent mealtimes, adoration, game time, and praise and worship time together. Our girls group was so fun! We had a "love fest" yesterday, where we all sat in a circle and just told one person at a time all the things we loved about her. There wasn't a dry eye in the place! We also had tons of candy (to teach us about temperance, of course.) And we played some hilarious games, and we danced, oh, how we danced!!!

As for the Jesus aspect, adoration of the Eucharist was incredible. Out of the 20 kids on retreat, 16 of us rested in the Spirit (not ever to be confused with passing out.) And one of my friends had visions! It was so beautiful!

ETA- I also got hit in the face with a soccer ball during one of our games. And my friend Katherine rested in the Spirit and fell on top of my head. But it was still fun.
