Blue, I had to read "Le Petit Prince" when I took French in college. I still have my copy of it running around here, somewhere (it's in French, of course). I had forgotten about the elephant - no surprise, it was 30-odd years ago that I read it.

"Le Petit Prince"? Why is it that holds no intrigue for me. Perhaps it's too many years with Le Magnifique Princess.

Speaking of royalty, our good Queen Em

is conspicuous by her absence. Hopefully all is well with our monarch.

Quite honestly, I never liked the little prince, either. "Deep" is nearly incomprehensible in a foreign language!


I was just thinking that it's been a few days since our fair Queen last graced us with her presence. I hope she will be able to attend on this thread's birthday.
