Hot, hot, hot! and did I mention humid? Went to a field trial today - back 2nd and 4th ended up with a 4th and I can't even complain about the judging. Frankly, I just wanted to get myself and the dogs HOME. I truly hate these hot weather field trials!

Been hot here too George. But I just watched the forecast and it's supposed to rain tomorrow then the highs for the next week are supposed to be from the upper 70's to the mid 80's.

Maybe I'll feel like doing a little if it really does cool off that much!

If you can't manage that, you need to get in good with Perry - though you'll have to work out your own payment program.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can "get in good with Perry"? That seems to be my best option..........

Umm, it's a guy thing - I give the Princess hour by hour predictions - just another reason for her to call me a 'Boy Scout'. Be Prepared!

Weather? Hubby watches the tropical Atlantic activity more closely than the guys at the National Hurricane Center (gee, I wonder why). But even I usually have a tab on my computer open to the local radar loop. Right now, I'm trying to decide whether those T-storms spawned on the sea breeze front are going to make it necessary for me to go feed the horses early tonight . . . anybody got a coin I can toss?


It hasn't been too awful hot around here - mid to upper 80's - but the humidity has been through the roof. I was trying to put up a few more boards in the barn earlier. With the roof up, it wasn't too bad, at least I was in the shade, but the sweat kept dripping on my glasses. And of course, if I came in the house for anything, I like to froze to death!

Folks, it hit 99 today.Too #@%& hot, pardon me ladies. I am soooo ready for fall! Tomorrow I get process fire wood, and it's supposed to hit at least 98.

JD, hot and humid here today and the same predicted for tomorrow. The 'hour by hour' Calls for 100 % humidity in the early AM.

then into the 90% range for the morning followed by thunder showers in the afternoon. Supposedly cooling off for Sun. The town is having a township wide yard sale tomorrow and I had to bring a ton of crap up from the cellar. Told the Princess that which does not sell is going into the garbage dumpster.
