A good mood...? Been a while since I've seen one of those.

But even this part of life brings a little humor. (By now everyone
knows my father is pretty sick?)

He called me the other day. Told me he was dead... Now that
was a little hard for me to answer.

Today, I had the undertaker come to the house. Dad wanted to
pick out his coffin, talk a little price...anyway, the undertaker and
his son made a house call.

First thing dad said to them was, "Come back Friday after lunch
and pick me up. I'll be ready then." They didn't know what to say.

Even had the preacher stop by that Dad wants to do his service.
Dad to the end...telling the preacher what to say. (The preacher,
he knows my dad all too well.) He would say something and dad
would go off..."No, don't be telling things like that about me."

So it's been a journey.

But looking at dad, it's about over now.

Apparently Friday....after lunch, I guess.
