I went to homecoming one year with a guy that was SOOO cute but had never ever ever said a word to him in the 2 years I had been there.

Haha wanna hear something totally lame?
I had one of my friends ask him on AIM if he wouldnt wanna go to HC with me
he said he would! ahhhh!
The next day at lunch he walked over to my table and asked me very loudly in front of everyone

The monday after HC at lunch I was out in the courtyard and he made a loud announcement then asking me out
Ahhh! he was so cute... and so what if it only lasted a week

Still had fun and still remember it!

Go for a guy you like!

OK well this year i am going to go to prom but i dont have a date because all my guy friends that i would have asked are going with their girlfriends or something...and i am starting to be kinda down about it and i dont know if i even want to go...i have a dress already but i reallly just dont wanna go dateless again this year...last year i was going to go with my BF but i broke up with him a month or so before prom so i ended up just going with my friends and it was fun but this is my senior year and i would really like to have a date for it...all my other friends are going with their BF or they are not going at all...so i cant just hang out with friends this time......i am just down about this and i just needed to tell someone about it...should i even go? or should i just stay home?

I know how you feel exactly. It's most likely I won't be going to my senior prom since I really have no interest in it. It'd be nice to spend my last year doing something with my class, but then again I have senior trip which I know will be even more fun than prom. (And I heard the prom is only going to be 3 hrs long. They're renting a cruise boat.) I have no guy friends/boyfriend, and most of my friends have dates. I'm the kind of person who feels left out when everyone else has a date to their prom.

I say do what you want. If you have no interest in it at all it ain't worth the money for spending a ticket going alone. If you would like to go and hang out with your friend, then go and have fun.​
