Congrats. I will be getting mine in one week. I am trying to get 1 or 2 pale EE's. I am getting most of them from local feed stores so that I can pick which ones I want. I am ready to drive to multiple feed stores to find the "right" EE's. Luckily we have lots of options of where to buy the chicks around us.

I have two Silkies (same age) in there, and they are very good at playing big brother and sister to the little ones.

Uh, I went back to that particular feed store Saturday:

Tried to find the Barred Rock with the smallest comb and thinnest legs in hope that it's a girly. I learned from my FBCM roo that comb matters more than coloring, because even though he had pullet coloring he had a huge comb compared to his female hatch mate (who had roo coloring

).
