Solved Signature?

I don't know if this the proper place to ask this question,but what is a signature? How is it used?

I thought I'd tag this thread rather than making a new one...
But I'm having the same issue. I added a sig but I don't see it show up on any post. What could I be doing wrong?

I don't know. Are you using the preview after you make changes? You don't have to, but if you haven't try the preview and then, Save Changes. Are you sure you are hitting "Save Changes"? Sounds obvious, but I don't know why it would not show up unless it's just too long or something, but it usually tells you that. If you still have trouble, maybe a moderator could make the change for you.

If using mobile, signatures don't show in portrait (upright) mode, but if you turn your phone sideways, they usually show.

Glad you solved it! I don't use a phone so that was not on my radar. I don't even think about doing stuff on a phone.
