I don't know about the rest of you but I'm looking for any signs of spring and the end to this cold weather.

Here's a few flowers I just picked from around the yard.

Everyone else feel free to post your own "Signs of Spring" pictures.

YOU have spring! I don't have anything springing up yet. I soooooooo need spring. 3 more weeks and the potatos go into the garden. Yes!!!

It is on the way....Whooo!!! Hoooo!!!!

Not much spring yet here in west central Mississippi, but not much winter so far either! My rose bushes haven't been cut back yet because of all the healthy looking new growth! I planted a couple of Wal-Mart bags of tulips, but I only see one peeking out of the ground so far. Mom lives further west in Vicksburg, and all of hers have broken the ground. Last year was about the best March here I can remember! I got an early start with all my annuals last year and only had to cover up everything for 3 days at Easter when we had a late frost. I do so welcome spring each year, this year even more so because I'm hoping my little silkie Serama bantam hen will go broody and hatch some baby chicks! As soon as we get pretty signs of spring, if this thread is still alive, I'll be happy to post pics. Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers! Perked me right up!

Hey Rooster Red - don't you love bulb flowers - coming up when everything else is still dead? Warms my heart. They are coming up everywhere around this old plantation home we bought in December. All around house, down hillsides, in pastures. I could start a bulb business.

Where I live in California we have a pretty mild winter season. I still have a few roses blooming and geraniums, flox, lavender. Got veggies in the ground now too. I have zukes, tomatoes, beans, peas, cabbage, broccoli and different lettuces.

The closest I can get to spring is my trip to the zoo with my Grandson Monday (it was 68). The next day? 33. <sigh> He loved the Lorakeets.
