Silence Is Not Golden Here

Pop em in the ground and see what happens! I have golden raspberries (everbearing) and are they ever delicious! My favorites by far. If you have any nice composted chicken poo or fresh rabbit poo, throw some of that on there and water. Let them dry out a bit between waterings until established. This advice is in regards to the raspberries only ... I haven't a clue on gooseberries! They sure look neat though!

Thank you. I do have some compost I can add to the soil and of course there's chicken poo in there. I started a thread in the gardening forum and someone suggested adding the miracle grow root hormone so I may try that. Really really really hoping the raspberries come alive and as far as the gooseberries I'm pretty sure they're like a muscadine. My hubby loves muscadines and wanted some which is why I grabbed those.

Those berries should like that compost with a serving of extra nitrogen ;)
I don't know what a muscadine is! I'll have to look it up...

:lau Oops I think my southern is showing. They grow native down here where I live. People make wine and jellies out of them or just eat them raw.
Hah! Sounds like a wild grape variety (according to the interwebs) which sounds neat! I put in hardy kiwi this year and I'd like to add grapes within the next couple years for sure!
